Challenge Quilt 16 x 24
Machine Appliquéd, Machine Quilted, Fused
This was a photo that I took at Geneva Point, NH at this Spring Fling. I loved the birch chair with the shadow and snow. Using netting to make a shadow was a bit of a stretch for me. I learned a lot and had fun making this hanging for "Somewhere In Time".
Patience For A Lifetime, by Sandy Whitecross
Original design.
Challenge Quilt 16 x 24
Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted
This quilt was designed during the RSQ Workshop this year with Thomas Knauer. Using Braille to "write" the word "patience", I added my personal time-line to date below it. Many of the milestones of my life are centered around my education, learning for two careers and lifelong personal growth.
