About RSQ
Founded in 1986, the Rising Star Quilters Guild, Inc. promotes a wide range of quilt-related activities. In addition to the annual quilt show each fall, the Guild sponsors presentations by well-known quilt artists and authors at monthly meetings, workshops, and quilt-related excursions.
The Rising Star Quilters Guild, Inc. is open to all who are interested in the art of quilting, and urges everyone, even if they have never held a needle, to join the guild and discover the joy to be gained in creating beauty with textiles.
The IRS awarded the Rising Star Quilters Guild, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit status as a Public Charity on March 28, 2008. This was awarded retroactively to February 27, 1992, the date of incorporation.

*We meet from September through June, except in December. Sometimes the November meeting's date is changed so it does not fall on Thanksgiving week.
